Writer's Statement:
I write because I love it. Now that my kids are grown, and much of the heavy lifting behind me, I have found my long lost love of writing has returned. I am convinced this love of writing will never cease. It may lay dormant for a while, but if I knock on its door, it seems, it will always open again.

During the darkest days of The Salem Witch Trials, a corrupt Governor made a pact with a toad-witch to be reincarnated in spirit through all future generational bloodlines. They set out to promote the grave injustice of accusing innocent people within the village of Salem, Massachusetts of witchcraft. Unbeknownst to the toad-witch and the Governor, one of the falsely accused women actually practices the dark arts and because of the toad-witch's spell, her existence lives on in spirit of all future bloodlines as well. This creates a never-ending cycle of cursed generations, forever combative, when two once-in-a-century comets cross paths. The most recent generation is a modern family full of Classical Russian Literature fan boys that are about to have their masculinity tested by a villainous duo : an ascendent of the Salem toad-witch and her son, a direct ascendent of the corrupt 17th century Salem Governor. The toad-witch’s son uses his mother’s powers to become the leading mobster in Los Angeles. The accidental death of his brother leads the witch’s son right back to where it all started with The Salem Witch Trials. The curse has become a one in a hundred year war between two bloodlines that stem back to 17th century Salem, Massachusetts. The comets create a serendipitous astral energy that triggers the bloodlines to converge and feud once every century, as that has been their orbit since the beginning of time.
